Gloucester County Apparatus Championships

Once again The Forest of Dean Gymnastics Club was The Host Club of The above competition. This is the most important event of The Gloucestershire calendar.

There were only 3 clubs able to put out teams at this level of competition in the county, namely The Fromeside Gymnastics Club, (Winterbourne), The Forest of Dean Gymnastics Club and The Gym Centre Cheltenham.

This was always going to be a tough competition.

Fromeside are one of the top 5 clubs in the country, with Girls and Boys at National level and in the National team. They, like The Forest of Dean train full time in their own, purpose-built facilities, their Gymnasts train between 15 and 30 hours a week, some having time off school to train in the day time. The Gym Centre put in a magnificent performance and can hold their heads high.
